Languages - Assamese

 

The Assamese Language is offered in the school both as 2nd & 3rd language. Atleast 35 % students learn Assamese as 2nd. language from classes 3 to 10 and 80 % students learn the language as 3rd.language from classes 5 to 8.

 

The syllabus for the Junior and Middle schools are decided by the HOD incorporation with the Faculty members whereas the syllabus for 9 and 10 is given by the Council like other languages.

 

There is no bifurcation of the syllabus for classes 9 and 10. 2 text books out of 4 texts are selected by the subject teachers which to be completed in two years.
