Art & Computer
Graphics
Computer graphics
is a vast, all-encompassing field. Offered as an activity at
the AVS, the goal of this activity is to introduce basic
concepts, skills, and techniques using the Adobe Photoshop
program. Senior school students in particular are encouraged
to hone their skills by regular practice.
Rendering images, creative montage, image morphing, logo
designing, designing magazine covers, editing photographs,
editing scanned images, and cartoon drawing are all
practices that comprise this activity.
Gradually
building students’ awareness of aesthetics and design,
successful students can hope to build upon a career in the
field of commercial art, such as the applied arts.
The Art Block comprises two halls and a clay modelling room,
the walls of which reflect the creativity of budding artists
and craftsmen. Especially, in the clay modelling section,
the students learn the finer techniques of pottery-making.
