Desktop publishing (also known as DTP) combines a personal computer and page layout software to create documents on a computer for either large scale publication or small scale local economical multifunction, minor output and distribution.

Users create page layouts with text, graphics, photos and other visual elements using Desk Top publishing software such as Adobe In Design, Adobe PageMaker, and Apple Pages, used for making Cards, Newsletters, Books, Magazines, Brochures and Letter-Heads.
