Physics in
Action
The aim of
creating a weather station is to help pupils to become more
aware of the weather and its effects through measuring and
recording weather patterns.
Pupils
involved in this activity record:
• The temperature
• The amount of rainfall
• The direction of the wind
• The speed of the wind
• The humidity
They design weather charts on which they record their
observations and update the maximum and minimum
temperatures, humidity and other parameters on the weather
station display board.
