School ranges from Dressage and Show Jumping to Tent
pegging.
Students are trained over an
area close to 1000m, which comprises of two riding rings (20

expanses of field. The school currently trains 127 aspiring
equestrians.
The Riding School
at the Assam Valley School offers great opportunities to its
talented equestrians by sponsoring them in various
equestrian events, such as the Junior National Equestrian
Championships and the prestigious Delhi Horse Show.
Recently three of
our very talented equestrians, Suhavi Arya, Krishna Kanta
Gogoi and Anirban Saikia, performed laudably in the Delhi
Horse Show, 2008, bringing back two bronze medals and a
sixth position in the Hacks events of their respective age
divisions. Previously Surya Vijay Singh and Pooja Sutodia
made AVS proud by winning gold at various national events,
Surya being adjudged the best rider of the junior category
in 2004.
With 13 horses
and 127 student equestrians, the curriculum at the Riding
