Music at The Assam Valley School is a year round growing experience. We believe that every child should grow in a holistic educational system, one major part being music. Sounds are a natural part of our existence and one of our primary senses. Privileged as we are in such environs, The Assam Valley School has a campus that offers various audio stimuli from all the living beings around. Apart from the natural sounds offered on campus we have a trained set of staff who offer vocal, instrumental, percussion training and guidance in both Western and Indian styles of music. Our staff have been professional performers in the past as well and have an insight as to what it takes to be a musician. We offer professional courses in Trinity Guildhall across all platforms, be it Indian or Western. As a school we are proud to be part of The Indian Public School Council and make it a point to participate in the annual IPSC music events each year. As mentioned earlier, music is a year round activity and passion for most of the students and teachers involved, from Inter-house events, to Trinity, Bhatkhande music exams to our prestigious Founder’s Day celebrations and the Summer Fest and not to forget every assembly that starts our day on a melodious note. Music at The Assam Valley School is omnipresent.
