The transaction of English at The Assam Valley School is a transaction with a difference. The teachers take utmost interest, not only in the development of the written word, but also the spoken word. The teacher and the taught have joined hands to move the subject beyond the monotony of just textual transaction. The teacher is no more a solo performer forcing his individual point of view into the receptive and not-so-receptive minds of students in captivity. Proactive and interactive process of teaching has made the experience delightful.
