The Assam Valley School Boy wins Bronze Medal in the National Event

 

Krishna Beria, a ninth grader from The Assam Valley School has showcased his talent by making a model of ‘TV Remote Controlled Robotic Wheel Chair’. For his exceptional work, he was awarded third position nationally. The Vice President of India, Mr. Hamid Ansari honoured him by giving a Bronze medal, Rs 5000 cash, HP laptop and a certificate in the evening of 10th October, 2013.

Earlier in the year, Krishna represented the school in the district level competition that was held in July 2013 in Tezpur, in which, he was selected amongst the twenty successful candidates from the Sonitpur district. The state level event was held at Sankardeva Kalakhetra, Guwahati on 11th of September, 2013. He was among the top three pupils from various schools of Sonitpur, who have been selected to represent the state of Assam at the national level.

The Assam Valley School takes immense pride on his achievement that has put the name of Assam in the national radar. The School is thankful to Mr. Rajen Bharali for escorting Krishna to various levels of the Competition and to Dr. Hemashree Deka and Dr. Kuljeet Singh for organising and coordinating the entire event for the School.
