House Systems

For pupils of classes 6 to 12 there are 8 boarding houses. Four of these are for boys and four of these are for girls. The houses are named after the tributaries of the Brahmaputra river and are clubbed together as brother and sister houses for inter house events.

Each house is under the care of two Housemasters or Housemistresses. Pupils of class 6 to 8 are under the purview of Housemistress/ Housemaster ‘B’ and pupils of class 9 to 12 are under the purview of Housemistress/ Housemaster ‘A’. There are  tutors attached to the houses  who support the pastoral heads.

In addition to the 8 boarding houses, the 9th house is ‘Tihu’ which houses pupils from Classes 3 to 5 (both boys and girls).
