Chess competitions in India's best boarding school
AVS organized its first-ever Inter-School Shri. B.M. Khaitan Memorial Chess Championship 2022 on the 20th of Nov 2022. Seven schools participated under 3 categories (U-14, 17, and open) . The event saw excitement, engagement and a play of gambits.
A total of 65 students participated in the tournament from 8 schools across Assam.
