ChemApp is a Chemistry-based activity that is one of the most polular academic activities for students where they get an apportunity to perform experiments and have fun with chemicals and explore the world of chemicals beyond their text books. The Objective of this activity is to promote an interest in the field of Chemistry and to stimulate scientific curiosity in students, to promote the importance of Chemistry and the physical sciences in everyday life. This activity is theme-driven; some common themes are art, environment, food, forensics, make-up, etc.

Opportunities provided:

1. The work done in acticty is showcased in Theme based Founders’ exhibition- ‘Magical Chemistry’, ‘Food Chemistry’, ‘Chem Cleaners’, ‘Everyday Chemistry’, ‘Rainbow Chemistry’ were some of our popular themes.
2. Various competitions are organised every year such as Chemistry Design n Experiment, Chemistry Quiz, Searching the elements present in your food items, Chemistry Lecture Series, Chemtoon etc.
3. Students are trained to participate in Chemistry-based competition at Tezpur Central University.
4. Students get an opportunity to be a presenter at Chemistry exhibition that helps in boosting their confidence and enhance their communication skills.
5. Students are trained to make models and present their work at local and National level competitions.
