The Assam Valley School actively participated in the AFS East Zone Regional Meet jointly hosted by The Royal Global School and The Maria Public School from October 4 to October 6, 2024. This Regional Meet centered on the theme of ‘Culture and Sustainability’: United for a Better World.’
This three-day event was packed with enriching experiences, including:
Inauguration Ceremony and Felicitation: A grand opening that set the tone for the meet.
Keynote Speech: Inspiring words from the esteemed keynote speaker, Mr. Rituraj Phukan (environmental activist) who shared invaluable insights on climate change and sustainable impacts.
Visit to the Akshar Foundation: A chance to learn about their impactful work based on sustainability-based education model.
Cruise on the Brahmaputra: A scenic cruise paired with cultural programs.
Community Service at an Old Age Home: A meaningful opportunity for our students to give back to the community.
Valedictory Function: Celebrating the achievements of all participants with presentations from students across various schools.
This regional meet provided a wonderful opportunity for our aviators to interact with peers from different schools in the East, fostering cultural exchange and camaraderie.
