AFS National Competition hosted by The Assam Valley School, themed “Heroes Among Us – Celebrating Local Unsung Heroes” had 17 schools participating in the competition that included creating a video or a presentation focusing on the contributions of an unsung hero from their community.
More than fifty students participated in this competition where ten outstanding videos were shortlisted and five schools won awards in three categories mentioned below:
– Excellent: Vantage Hall Girls’ Residential School
– Outstanding: The Emerald Heights International School and The Sanskaar Valley School
– Special Mention: Maa Anandmayee Memorial School and Vallabha Vidyalaya School
Khushi Todi, Vidhi Bajaj, Sneha Ngangom and Anya Rajkumari participated from The Assam Valley School in this virtual exchange programme that concluded on September 26, 2024.
