On March 10 the Craft, Design & Technology department of The Assam Valley School, organized a workshop that brought together fifteen members of the Mahila Samiti from Tezpur teaching them eco-friendly crafts, including textile dyeing and creating paper bags and cup coasters from recycled rags.
This initiative was designed with sustainable principles in mind, aligning with the values of the Samiti and its members. The participants demonstrated high enthusiasm and engagement throughout the workshop, embracing the creative and environmentally conscious activities.
The event highlighted the importance of community-driven initiatives in promoting eco-friendly behaviors and empowering women through skill development.
