The students of AVS Dance School participated in “Grooves”, an Inter School Competition hosted by Modern High School for Girls, Kolkata. We participated in three events: –
Cool Off- It was a live dance battle in which Baibhav Sharma from Class 11 participated.
Paradigm- It was a solo event in which the participant had to portray a painting through their dance with an original interpretation. Abhinashni Baruah from Class 9 was a part of this event. Her dance form was contemporary.
Affinity- It was a live duet event in which the participant had to explain the bonds of the elements they were assigned through their dance. Priyanchi Sharma and Kuhu Bakliwal participated in this event. We performed a Sattriya and Kalbeliya duet.
All our participants performed really well and we secured the first position in Affinity.
