Budding poets recite and remember the stalwarts
Lower School Hindi Poetry Competition was organized on February 18, 2025 by the Hindi department.
Poems by some eminent Hindi poets were recited by the young students. The host-cum-anchor of the programme, Anushka Shivkumar Iyer, recited a poem written by her which won wide appreciation.
They eloquently presented their poems before the audience maintaining a clear sense of diction, pronunciation, flow and rhythm befitting Hindi poetry recitation.
Results of the competition were as follows:
Class 5:
First Position- Aaradhya Dixit
Second Position- Shirel Dixit
Class 6:
First Position- Arpit Yadav
Second Position- Keerat Kaur Rawat and Aaradhya Eon Baruah
Class 7:
First Position- Nilav Prajapati
Second Position- Anaika Ginoria and Ryan Dutta
Class 8:
First Position- Nishika Patodia
Second Position- Urja Jain
