Central Dining Hall

The Assam Valley School has two state of the art dining halls for students. They are very spacious and well ventilated. They receive ample amount of natural light during the day and are properly illuminated during the evening meals and dinner. There are separate dining halls for the boys and the girls. The girls’ dining hall has an area of 15876 square feet which is meant for 400 students. The boys’ dining hall is 21258 square feet and caters to 550 students.

Hygiene is given top priority and we have an automatic dish washer with rinsing and top wash features that has been imported from Sweden. Both the dining halls are provided with conveyer toasters and separate food warmers for vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes which keep food warm as per the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) Standard. Sixteenpeople have been assigned to each dining hall for serving and clearing duties.

Balanced and nourishing meals are served to the students and variety is maintained on a daily basis.
