It is a known fact that war destroys and ends lives and livelihoods at various levels. It is easy to play the blame game but for what good does it do when precious lives are lost and families are distraught? Is there a way to end wars? While the experience of war differs for different people, the depth of suffering and pain it causes is unfathomable.
With an endeavour to understand what causes war and its effect on society and humanity and come up with plausible solutions through discourse, The AVS Round Square Committee hosted an International Zoom Postcard Call on the 2nd of November, inviting delegates of age group 16-18 years to be a part of this reflective experience themed ‘War settles nothing’ based on the Pillar of Internationalism and Discoveries of Inquisitiveness; Self-awareness; Inventiveness.
It was a pleasure having alumnus, Puspak Chamariya, Manas, ISC Batch of 2014, as the Keynote Speaker. The event witnessed 110 delegates from 18 schools across 8 countries and was a memorable experience.
