IPSC Dramatics Festival
Host School: B.K. Birla Centre For Education, Pune
The Assam Valley School participated in the IPSC Dramatics Festival, 2023 at the B.K. Birla Centre For Education, Pune from the 3rd -5th September, 2023.
A delegation of nine students, Divyana A. Lahan, Natasha Billimoria, Anikaith A. Joshi, Adhayan Saikia, Tasmin Yushra Ahmed, Vidhi Choudhury, Hiya Keshan, Subham Maheswari & Saanchit Agarwal, along with one teacher Mrs. Rimjhim Ghosh Pyne went for the same.
The students participated in various categories of Drama
1. Shakespearana – An English Play
2. Hum Hai Ya Hum nahin – Hindi playwriting and dramatic reading
3. Non Verbal Play
The teams put up stellar performances and were much appreciated.
They won awards in the following categories
1. Best Delegation- Contemporary Relevance in presentation- Shakespeareana
2. Best Delegation- Experimental writing and Performance presentation in Hindi Playwriting and dramatic reading.
