On the 18th of August, the students of the AVS Photographic Society, Art & CDT went on a captivating trip to SPITI, Himachal Pradesh. Spiti was a wonderful experience. We were amazed by the beauty of the land. It had waterfalls, beautiful terrains, deep valleys, magnificent monasteries, spectacularly high mountains and if one was lucky like we were, they could also get the view of the snow capped mountains in the month of August.
Being able to see and capture the Milky Way on a clear night sky is a memory we will forever cherish. An overnight stay at Kaza, allowed us to take excellent shots of the night sky. The trip gave us an opportunity to take an lesser travelled road and a break from the humdrum of everyday life.
