AVS organized yet another Summer Fest after a much awaited period of three years. It was a three day recreational event with various sporting and cultural activities arranged by the staff and students.
The first day started off with the inauguration of the food court, followed by the ‘Triathlon’ in the afternoon and the ‘New Comers’ Eve’ in the evening. The second day consisted of the Social Service League’s Fete where the students set up various stalls to raise money for charity. It was followed by the Interact Club’s Fundraiser Movie where the school watched ‘Adam’s Project.’ The evening brought the Rock Fest where the students formed their own bands and performed. The night came to a close with the enthusiastic special concert by our beloved alumnus Rahul Rajkhowa. The last day was a Parents Visiting Day along with the first ever B-(Business) idea event conducted by students and also the Scholastic Book Fair. The Summer Fest finally concluded with the famous play ‘Two Adorable Losers’ by Abhishek Pattnaik, Darsheel Safary and their team.
The Fest was a much needed break which nevertheless engaged the students in productive and fun-filled pursuits. It was indeed another successful tradition of the school.
